Copyright Ownership

All artwork, designs, images, photographs, text, branding, and content displayed on this website remain the intellectual property of Mark Coleman trading as CharBorn, unless otherwise stated.

The purchase of physical artwork does not transfer copyright or intellectual property rights to the buyer.

Permitted Personal Use

Customers may:

  • display purchased artwork privately in their home or workplace,
  • share photographs of purchased artwork on personal social media accounts for non-commercial purposes,

provided that appropriate credit to CharBorn is given where reasonably possible.

Prohibited Use

Without prior written permission, customers and third parties may not:

  • reproduce artwork,
  • copy designs,
  • scan or digitally reproduce artwork,
  • create derivative works,
  • use artwork for commercial purposes,
  • manufacture copies,
  • resell reproductions,
  • use images from this website for commercial or marketing purposes,
  • use artwork in advertising, branding, NFTs, AI training datasets, or merchandise production.

Unauthorised commercial use or reproduction of artwork may constitute copyright infringement under UK law.

Website Images & Product Photography

All product photographs and website imagery are protected by copyright.

Downloading, reproducing, modifying, or commercially using website images without written permission is prohibited.

Commissioned & Custom Artwork

Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing:

  • copyright remains with CharBorn,
  • only ownership of the physical artwork transfers to the customer,
  • no commercial reproduction rights are granted.

Any transfer or licensing of copyright must be agreed in writing.

Artist Rights

We reserve the right to:

  • photograph completed artworks,
  • use images of sold artworks for portfolio, marketing, promotional, website, and social media purposes,
  • reproduce images of our own artworks for advertising and business purposes.
